How to Do Elmo Nail Art

Elmo, the lovable and bright red fuzzy puppet from Sesame Street makes for an adorable nail design. With a little artistic flair, you can sport a simplistic but effective Elmo design on your nails for a bit of childhood fun.

Edit Steps

1. Remove all old nail polish. Wash your hands, and towel dry. Apply a clear base coat to avoid staining your nails.


2. Paint all of your nails red. Let dry.
   
   
   


3. Using a dotting tool, make two white circles for eyes on your ring finger. Let dry. Add a black dot in the center of each eye. Let dry.
   
   
   
   


4. Using a dotting tool, make an orange circle in between the eyes for Elmo’s nose. Let dry.
   
   
   
   


5. Paint on a smile in Black for Elmo’s smile.
   
   
   
   


6. Once your cute design is done, add a clear top coat to preserve it. Repeat for a few other nails (as desired) for an effective looking nail design.
